Mendoza is the province of Argentina that represents the country’s wine culture. It is an area
that deserves to be known not only for producing the best wines but also because it has
tourist sites full of culture, nature, and dreamlike landscapes such as Cerro Aconcagua, Valle
de Uco, and Los Penitentes.
Uco Valley
To the north of the Tunuyán River, you will find the Uco Valley. This Argentine wine region is
characterized by its fertile soils and being surrounded by the highest peaks of the Andes.
It is the ideal place to spend a vacation in Mendoza and go on bike rides, horseback riding,
trekking, rafting, landscape watching, wine tastings, and excursions to the Miradores de las
Estrellas and Cristo Redentor.
Cerro de Aconcagua
If you don’t know what to do in Mendoza, a good option is Cerro Aconcagua, located
within the Cerro Aconcagua Provincial Park. Being the highest in the southern hemisphere, it
is ideal for climbing.
It is one of the tourist places to visit in winter in Mendoza where you may see the red fox,
